Home featured on Historic Indian Village Holiday Tour 2015

The Sunday, December 4, 2015 Historic Indian Village Holiday Tour was a grand success. The homes were beautiful and all tours were completely sold out. On Friday, December 4, 2015, the first Historic Indian Village Holiday VIP Gala Tour also went splendidly. Much enjoyed, it is sure to be repeated in following years.

Many thanks to the generous home owners who opened their doors to the tours. Without them, the tour would not be possible. Thanks to all who donated refreshments, time, much time, and talents to to the tours. We give special thanks to the Whittier Hotel for hosting the Sunday Holiday Tour Afterglow. It was wonderful to discover such a treasure under renovation on Detroit riverfront.

All profits from the Holiday Tour and the Holiday Tour Gala goes to the Artelia Boune Court Scholarship, administrated by the Indian Village Woman’s Garden Club. Over the last twenty years, over $100,000 has been given to some of Detroit’s worthy scholars.
