Our March meeting was at Valerie’s* beautiful historic home. Special thanks to her for opening her home again, her large kitchen was essential. Lester Gouvia, chef and owner of Norma G’s, did a delicious cooking demonstration making a vegan curry with chickpeas, potatoes and green beans. It was enjoyed by all. We started at 7:00 with wine and conversation. A very brief business meeting was held. by vice-president Deborah Langston.  President Renata Miller-Taylor is recovering from surgery. A donation to Detroit Prep Academy School, the pancake breakfast, Daffodil Day, and were discussed.
