Monday, September 8, 2014, 7:30pm, was the first meeting of the 2014-2015 year.
We met at DJ’s beautiful home and garden. The speaker is Jackie Walley, landscape designer, who did such a beautiful job on DJ’s garden for the Indian Village Home and Garden Tour. The warm late summer evening gave us the opportunity to go outside and tour DJ’s garden again.
The meeting started at 7:30pm with Jackie leading a tour of the garden before darkness and mosquitoes drove inside. Refreshmenst were catered by club member Taranta White. She will also cater the International Tea.Wine was served.
After refreshments we had a short business meeting to discuss our proposed 2014-2015 budget and the International Tea on September 30. Our treasurer also reminded us that dues should be paid.
