The Indian Village Woman’s Garden Club Festive Holiday Tour is on Sunday, December 8, 2013. The cost of tickets is $35. All profits are used for the Artelia Bowne Court Scholarships. The Holiday Tour is our only scholarship fundraiser. Through the years, over $100,000 has been provided help to students from Indian Village and surrounded neighborhood.

The Holiday Tour features five homes in Detroit’s Historic Indian Village. Each home will be beautifully decorated for the holidays The Tour starts at Iroquois Avenue Christ Lutheran Church located at 2411 Iroquois, Detroit, MI 48214. The church doors will open at 1:00pm. Tickets will be distributed and docents will organize tour groups. Coffee and cookies will be served as you wait for you for your group to depart.

Only 125 tickets are available for the Holiday Tour. There are five time slots, 25 individuals are assigned to each group. Each group is accompanied by two Woman’s Garden Club docents.The groups will depart from the church at 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm and 3:30pm. Please reserve early to receive the time of your choice.

The Holiday Tour “afterglow” will be at a surprize location. Light refreshments, included in the price of your ticket, will be served. Wine will be available. It promises to be a lovely afternoon and a great start to your holiday season.

Tickets may be purchased, for $35 each, by check or PayPal. Checks should be payable to the “IV WGC” and mailed to P.O. Box 15333 Detroit, Michigan 48215. Please include the time slot, names, addresses and email addresses all attendees. PayPal purchasers, please bring a printed copy of your receipt.
